What I'm Wearing - LuLaRoe | via printmyemotions.com #HowIRoe

Life has been crazy busy since June so I haven’t had as much time to blog at all – much less blog any recipes (which take a little more time) or sneak in a Turkey Tuesday post – sorry about that! But it’s been a great summer so far, and we’re looking forward to a family vacation out east in a week. I’m headed to Washington DC for work on Monday, and Teacher Man and Joe will meet me out there on Thursday so we can wind our way up to Boston over the course of several days. We’ll include stops in Gettysburg, Philadelphia, and Cape Cod so it’s a good mix of history, beaches, and lobster rolls. 🙂

But first, LuLaRoe.

LuLa-what, you ask?

It’s my new clothing obsession. (Sorry to the guys who follow my blog – and I know some of you who do – just ignore the clothing talk and wait for my next blog post.)

I had never heard of LuLaRoe until a friend of mine started selling the line. It’s probably best known for its super soft, comfy, and stretchy leggings, but the dresses, skirts, and tops are fabulous as well. All the clothing comes in a huge variety of patterns and colors – with no pattern being used more than 2,500 times (or something similar – I can’t quite remember) so the sheer selection is amazing! Items come in a range of sizes and prices are affordable, too – $25 for leggings, $35 for tops, $35-65 for dresses and skirts.

This clothing line is meant for someone like me. I shop online for clothes almost exclusively, and LuLaRoe is available via what are called “online pop-up boutiques” on Facebook. (You can also schedule in-home parties, too.) It’s super fun to browse the photo albums and see what new patterns are available. (Some are highly coveted and called “unicorns” by LuLaRoe shoppers.) The downside, of course, is that it may seem hard to color match or pattern mix if I’m shopping for leggings and a top. However, I will tell that the consultants I have purchased from are awesome about answering questions about sizing, colors, patterns, and more.

I’m fairly obsessed.

I didn’t think I would be, but then I got my first piece – a dress called the “Amelia” – and it fit perfectly and it had pockets. POCKETS. I loved it.

Then a “Cassie” pencil skirt with a “Randy” tee. Do you see what’s happening here?

And most recently the “Nicole” dress, which I hesitated to buy for quite awhile and now I can’t believe I didn’t try it sooner. It’s amazing!

I have a skirt on order, hoping it will arrive before I leave for DC tomorrow. Teacher Man has taken to teasing me, “Are you Roe-ing today?” because that’s what I get asked from other women who recognize the clothing. 😉

If you want to check out the LuLaRoe obsession, feel free to join my friend Erica’s Facebook group here or LuLaRoe by Brenda & Keri. I’ve purchased from both and these folks are the best to work with.

(Note – I wasn’t compensated for this blog post. Erica doesn’t even know I’m writing it. 🙂 These are my own opinions and I just felt the need to share now that I have so many pieces of LuLaRoe!)

Okay, enough about clothes. I’ll be back again soon with another post but in the meantime, I’m planning how I’ll Roe to work tomorrow. Have a great rest of the week, friends!

Lara
