It’s been forever, it seems, since my last post and I feel bad about that! But that’s the way life rolls sometimes and it can’t be helped. I’d like to come up with a grand plan to post more regularly in 2018 but the truth is, I’m pretty sure I’m going to be as random as ever right now.

Thanks for hanging with me!

In the meantime, an update from the holidays:

And then there’s this guy.

We brought this bottle of chardonnay home from Napa last summer and saved it for a special occasion … the holidays!

We took Morgan to see Annie at the Ordway as her Christmas present. She wore the Annie costume my mom made for my sister (Morgan’s mom) when she was about the same age. So adorable! (And the show was amazing!)

And seriously, how stinking cute is this girl? (It was about -10 degrees outside when we went to the show and we parked as close as we could to the Ordway, but we still had to book it outside for a block or so. She was a big trooper!)

The morning after Annie, we took the kids to IHOP for brunch, where we all enjoyed waffles, pancakes and bacon. Lots and lots of bacon. 😉

And bonus – we got to spend New Year’s Eve at my sister’s home along with family and friends. So much fun!

And it wouldn’t be a new year without some new shoes!!

Just a few of my wishes for 2018:

  • A few more regular blog posts
  • A more regular Turkey Tuesday recipe schedule again
  • Time to read more books
  • Figure out my Instant Pot and use it more often
  • Stick to a regular workout regimen – with more strength training
  • Work my LuLaRoe business but don’t let it work me
  • Relish the everyday moments with family and friends – and make the most of my vacation days

Happy 2018, my friends!

xoxo – Lara
