I have the hardest time falling asleep on Sunday nights. I probably should be better about keeping a normal sleep pattern over the weekend but when push comes to shove and I can sleep in a little now, I do. Which leaves me wide awake at 11 pm on Sunday, of course.
Tomorrow I’m off to biggest week of the year for my job – it’s time for the Midwest Poultry Federation Convention! I’m looking forward to getting the show on the road – it’s like planning a wedding; at some point I’m just done and I want to get married.
So let’s do this!
The weekend was a nice resort before the chaos, short nights, and early mornings begin. We didn’t do much of anything except hang out.
We did hit two golf stores and the boys stocked up on a few essentials, including an epic new putter for Joe and new golf shoes for Teacher Man.
I abstained from any purchases – for now, anyway – although I’m tempted to try a hybrid club this year!
Alas, I did find myself a LuLaRoe skirt I couldn’t resist tonight in Facebook. So there you go.
It was actually tempting to buy a “Larry” ballmarker as that was my nickname on the high school golf team back in the day. It seems none of the out-of-town coaches could say my name right so at one meet, I was announced as “Larry Grinsburg” (which was a botch up of my last name too). Obviously, knowing teenagers, this nickname stuck for quite awhile. 😉
Today I worked on some new LuLaRoe outfits that are totally killer, if I do say so myself.
I am having so much fun with this “flat lay” photography where I can show complete outfits!
I am really looking forward to being back home Thursday night and having the entire day off on Friday! It’s time to chill on the couch, catch up on my reading, and watch some March Madness! (Go Gophers!)
Have a great start to your week!
