It’s Sunday night, folks, and I have very few photos from the weekend to share. I realize this may be surprising, considering I have about 4,000 photos on my iPhone, but it is what it is.
Instead, I’m going to share this photo of my favorite Facetime buddy, my niece Miss Morgan from Saturday night. 🙂 I mean, c’mon. Melt my heart with those big eyes and smile, will you?
And I’ll also share this recipe I tried on Saturday night – Mushroom and Leek Bread Pudding, courtesy of the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten. I have made a total of two recipes in my life using leeks and both of these were in the last six months. I think I’m becoming a fan. And this bread pudding is a bit like a sinful stuffing recipe – what with the heavy cream and cheese added into the mix. In related news, I’m a fan of the Barefoot Contessa, also.
That’s it. That’s all I’ve got for you tonight. Well, except for random tidbits:
- Adam Scott’s amazing chip and solid putt today to win his 2nd golf tournament in two weeks. Teacher Man calls him my boyfriend. 😉
- Have you ever made a homemade mocha frappuccino? It’s actually really easy, thanks to this step-by-step guide from The Pioneer Woman.
- It was 58 degrees in Minnesota today, which makes me covet this lovely dress and super cute ballet flats from Loft. As much as I love boots, I’m ready for spring shoes!
Have a great start to the week and watch for another Turkey Tuesday post featuring the most amazing hearty soup!
